I'd definitely look at Watch 2 and three there. It's certainly more subtle than the current Pokemon Go Plus accessory.

That or an update to the Pebble or other smartwatches

I won't be surprised if they made Pokemon Go supported by smartwatches in the future.

If you're gonna be a Pokemon Trainer, don't be afraid to flaunt it. Just don't be obnoxious about it.

It won't be long and someone will use a data-sniffer to figure out, how the communication protocol between app and plus gadget works and will create an app for either Android and/or iOS simulating the plus gadget and instead working with e.g. smart watches or bluetooth headsets (you'll hear a sound and can react with the call-button of the handset)

wouldn't be funny if there was also a variant similar to the watch that appeared on Black and White... (surprisingly enough, i imagine that watch was like the precursor to modern smartphones in the pokemon universe...)
