Honestly they are just adding nations to the game that they know will add fuel to the fire that is Fan Base, first the Germans that "Somewhat" helped the Japanese during the war in the Fan Base they are portrait as friendly, then they added the Italians which spawned jokes between the Germans and them, then Iowa which spawned the whole Kongo and Iowa think because of British and Americans and then the friction between america and the Axis powers and now the Actual Battleship class from britain. honestly is just Kancolle making its Fan Base work for them in terms of Advertising
