A pool is better now since munmu-san is drawing a series with Aoba and Kinugasa as main characters. But, the name of the pool is original because as far I can read from each art commentary, the artist hasn't given an official name to these images, so for now and until someone helps I name the pool "Interviewing the base".
Come to think of it, Kinugasa is my first attempt of the so-called "test building". You know, use the regular battleship recipe and test your luck for the very first time as a new admiral.
Kinugasa was one of my first heavy cruisers in the game as well for me.
In regards to the comic though, this raises the question of why she went along with Aoba's interviewing in the first place. Maybe she just wanted to humor her elder sister?
Kinugasa has been following her onee-san interviewing all the old-timers without saying that she's an old-timer herself?
If Aoba was your sister, would you knowingly make yourself an object of interest for her latest bit of 'reporting'? Just look at her reaction in the panel after the admission that is an "oh fuck, I just revealed that without thinking" face.
I really shouldn't have tried to translate Hiei's answer in panel 2. Seriously, I don't have much idea what that really means, and now risked everyone to (potentially) get confused. I may still be right, I don't know. Since Paracite decided not to change the context I'm gonna believe I got it correct.

Moreover, Kinugasa-san was the second of the Sixth Squadron to be here. My only senior in the Squadron is the first constructed ship, Kako.
