Anyway, this shows off the whole theme of this Pokemon perfectly. They knew we didn't want another Fire/Fighting starter, so they build this one up to look like that's what it is. And what does it turn out to be? Fire/Dark, with the theme of being a heel wrestler, one who fights dirty and gets the audience riled up. Well played...

After some research, I'm told the padding is called the turnbuckle, and the metal corner is the turnstyle (or the ring post).
