Is it funny that I got Merlin during Christmas time? And I thought he was just another Nitocris.

Why would you think that? Nitocris is just an AoE instead death spammer. Merlin is a supporter who trivializes the majority of the other supporters in the game.

I guess he meant that he resigned to the idea that this shiny Gold Caster he got in gacha will be another Nitocris spook.
