Well people tend to post vetor traces on danbooru as far as I can tell only if they are well made just like this post. So as long as the vector trace work is a high quality content than it's first main post then I don't mind having and welcoming them on danbooru. I double checked cropped places like her tails and it was very well-drawn so there is zero flaw in it plus its leveled in terms of color in a quite a good way so many people get chance use to use this in their works, such as creating wallpaper for example, because it has having transparent, png background.

Man I can't resist this urge that is swelling up deep inside me to go ahead and huggle that hugglable tail.

Having it is fine, but it should be considered along the same lines as a waifu2x upscale since they are usually made by a third party using a specific image as the basis.

Doesn't vector means that they are drawing the lines from scratch? So in this sense you can't consider this kind of vector works as upscaled images in my humble opinion. I mean if you read the guy who made this work in his deviantart page then it took him to make this work two long days which means a lot of work rather than just going on your way to resize the image with the help of image editing program.
