Actually, I think a speakeasy would be very successful in the Lunar Capital, if word of mouth was good. I can't imagine everyone buys into the whole purity thing.

It's not a matter of whether or not they buy into it, so much as it's something that is strictly enforced by law. They kicked out Kaguya because she became impure by becoming deathless. It's possible the Lunar rabbits don't have to follow the same standards, but the Lunarians themselves almost certainly do.

Also they literally die if impurity is introduced.
