Hey, at least it'll make it better for everyone involved. The point of the upgrade was that the straight edge had a higher chance of failing to cut in one go and get stuck. Not really something you want no matter if you're the guy in charge of maintenance or the still living guy with a giant blade lodged halfway through his neck.

Exactly. Nobels got the honor of execution by beheading, but it sure wasn't reliable before the guillotine. If the executioner sucks, it could take half a dozen blows to actually kill the victim.
