What happened to him would have been enough to break anyone. Losing your squad would be bad enough on its own... now imagine seeing them eaten alive in front of you. With nothing you can do. Then, on top of all that, be the sole survivor. I guarantee you will be messed up.
all I really wanted was such a petty self-contentment.To be honest, I don't think I'm gonna be living that long.After I narrowly escaped death, there was a chance to be granted a medical discharge.But in the end...Please fulfill whatever dreams you have if you can.Same goes for my body. It was modified through several risky surgeries...So my plans after the war ends are as blank as paper....So to me, having hopes for your future feels really dazzling.
