OK so for some of you who don't know, I've been planning a fantasy adventure webcomic called Steamboat Odyssey for a while now, and although it was previously on hold for a few months, I'm trying to get back to work on it again, yay !!!

So here's Bernadette, one of the 3 main characters of the story. Born from a marooned sailor father and a crippled mother on an island whose denizens condemn the sea, she encountered a new friend most unlikely; a sea succubus named Cordelia, who disguised herself as human. Their seemingly ill-fated friendship brought upon a chain of unfortunate events that changed Bernadette's life forever - putting her face-to-face with Death as she sails the endless ocean in search for her lost friend.

She would always be the first to touch any weird animal that washes up on shore, no matter how scary or disgusting it looks. An avid daydreamer, she often contemplates what lies beyond the sea that surrounds her home. She is also a loyal friend; as most of the people in the island avoid her due to her affinity for the ocean, she values the few that respect her hobbies, interests, and take her side.
