It was stated to be a dream at the beginning of the arc. It's just that Kouji made it so that everyone thought it was Ooi's dream.

I agree that it really is not Ooi's style to agree to a fight and instead let the other person's feeling take precedence, but I thought it was just Ooi being more open about her feelings while dreaming.

It makes sense if you read the strips back-to-back, but it's easy to forget the fact that AdmiBro was constantly questioning why Ooi's dream was so suspicious if you were reading these as they came out and forgot major plot points over the year it's been going...
