    It's definitely a MemeticSexGod effect (huh, disambiguation page...). And Sazanami, the original, definitely doesn't help with her waffling attitude to the growing affair. It probably speaks volumes that, as the series goes on, previous interests pull up their own bedside cushions to sit and start providing commentary.
