...I don't get it. Is there something wrong with her iced tea? I don't actually drink iced tea, so that might have something to do with my not getting it.

Maybe it's supposed to have milk? It does say ice cafe latte.

The only coffee that the machines in the convenience stores put out is black; all the additions are in the cup. If you hit the 'ice' option, all it does is account for the ice in the cup, not a different kind of coffee - it doesn't add milk/sugar or anything like the vending-machine types can. It is made from beans ground inside the machine though.

Here, there should be little frozen balls of milk in the cup to make it a latte, but there is not. It's just that the cup has been mislabeled - which would be obvious if you look at the cup before using it.

I thought it's because she realized she took one of those ready-to-drink stuff but she still have to pour in the coffee.

I never knew that sort thing existed.

Yeah, it is 7-Eleven that used to provide the iced cafe latte using frozen balls of milk. But this year, they introduced new machines that can serve hot milk too.

It brought delight to those who want hot latte, but also brought confusion to those who want iced one as ever...

Well, seems that they upgraded them since I got one... years ago... yeah, that could be why I'm out of the loop on that sort of stuff.

Went and checked out my local conbinis, they've all got milk-dispensers now; but things like mocha and caramel lattes are still the milk-in-cup type, since they're combined with the flavours. Though the regular ice latte cups can have sweetener in them.

Guess she just hit the wrong button here.

I still do not get this.
So the problem is lack of milk?

    What I got from this:

    1. Purchase designated drink.
    2. Receive cup.
    3. Press the wrong drink button on coffee machine.
    4. Proceed to a saddened mood and/or swearing intensively.

You get the cup from the freezer yourself, for the ones with ice (and flavours) in them. And since you prepay, she's paid the latte surcharge, too.
