From the series across the bottom it's pretty clear that it's not a throat mouth. On snake physiology, they don't have any special term for their mouth or anything, other than a pit vipers' 'pits' but those are above the mouth, on the face... also, I don't think they spit up the eggshells. The fact that there's no seem line nor skin dislocation for her cheeks makes this creepier to me.

egg eating snakes do spit the shells back out.

We do have big mouth for, well, having a really big mouth (notwithstanding chibi pics). We also have snake mouth for the shape of Ichinose's mouth right before it starts gaping, which is a figurative representation of a "snakelike mouth".

Yeah, I had a feeling this picture would wind up in THAT pool...

Well, I also thought maybe "unexpectedly adorable", but it didn't seem to fit with the other posts.

She really is drawn adorably until that mouth opens <cries in terror>.
