Despite the potency of the tank destroyer, I still find the Hetzer to be a rather funny looking vehicle with a gun strapped on it.
Though could the Hetzer itself slug tanks THAT far?
From what I read, the 7.5cm PaK 39 could penetrate up to 64mm RHA at ranges as far as 2,000 m. Though nowhere near powerful enough to punch through the turret of a Churchill, it's plenty useful when you're in a gun line ambush against a line of M4 Shermans.
