I'm going to sound like a nerd but she was a human once and isn't a robot. She just has machine parts that enhance her human parts... I guess :P

that is actualy true,her and 17 are considerd cyborgs,tho trying to insert logic into a character like that is too much trouble for why she "drinks" just use your imagination.~

True but even if she can be considered a cyborg, her electronics have to run off of some electrical power source. and as we all know, it has to come from somewhere.

Easiest explanation; micro Hydro turbines connected to her main arteries. But her organic parts do need some sort of fuel to run. /nerd

I imagine that designing your cyborg/android/whatever to acquire energy from foods and drinks would be a better idea for energy than batteries.
