there are two artists credited for this ranobe, はらぺこ (harapeko) and hanabana tsubomi. tsubomi said on her blog that she drew only b/w illustrations when harapeko did the cover art, color page(s?) inside and also a table of contents. 'harapeko' is a name of production committee for this anime, so it's likely the studio didn't bother to credit every artist, considering that another spread i've seen from the book had a picture that had been already used before (see clear file - post #10887634 - and one of the comptiq issues - asset #45386421) — and it looks different.
the other image is ikeya mamoru, character designer for the anime, but this one has a more kyoani-shaped style than any official art before. i don't have the book so there could've been more (color) pictures for me to judge from, though it could also have been ikeya who just did additional work. i wonder if not.
