Nah, it's just that our main character got arrested, and forced to remove all the contract with the Servants, hence this picture.

We got our new Director in Chaldea. Turns out, he literally bought the place. And he brought along Kirei Kotomine and a Totally-Not-Tamamo-Nine with him. Along with this, an inquiry is being performed by the Mage's Association as to "how badly can we fuck you for technicalities" since technically, Leyshifting is illegal without authorization from the United Nations. So every single Leyshift from the end of the Prologue until the final battle? Illegal. Da Vinci and the remaining staffed worked for the past six months at least to cover your ass and make it look like Roman did almost everything. Even so, the Mage's Association is going to interrogate us for five days. Because Holmes saw all this coming, he and Da Vinci have hidden away your Servants' Saint Graphs. The Fate system was shut down, so they were all forced to return to the throne anyway... which is what is shown in this comic. They're working on something which will activate on the last day of the year, but for now Holmes is keeping your servants safe. He's also made sure that there are no records of his existence are in Chaldea, so he's acting as a hidden agent during this time. Note that Gameplay and Story Segregation is in full effect, since the current state of affairs would not allow you to so much as run dailies if it was not.

Did I mention that the new director appears to be related to this timeline's version of Siegfried's original master from Apocrypha?

if he is related to Gordes than he might not be all bad since Gordes reflects on his mistakes and grows to becomes a better person.

But i think he won't make it to his character development after his failures. Because Kotomine Kirei is here and 100% he's up to something shady behind the fat bastard's back. (the only time he doesn't is in Prisma Illya but who knows about this universe). And Totally-Not-Tamano-Nine also has some suspicious movements in the prologue as well.

Totally Not Tamano Nine apparently manipulated Gordes Jr (I think it's his son) to buying Chaldea.

Honestly a lot of fans are hoping that Kirei isn't actually evil this time around, or at least not an antagonist, because it'd be super boring if he was yet again the bad guy.

The real antagonist this time is the shitty secretary not-Tamamo lady. Not-Gordes seems more like comic relief than any real antagonist.

Yup, it is exactly as you say. For the record, while the TotallyNotTamamo has a shitton of faces in the sprites, the Not-Gordes and Kirei have very few in comparison. It has me a little worried both are going to get offed shortly.
