...oddly effective. Sadly, now most of them are disappointed how few animes meet their expectations. I guess starting at too high of a bar can be a bit detrimental for enjoyment of this entertainment genre.

That's not trolling. This is a good anime. Recommending Boku no Pico is trolling. Saikano is for when you want to hurt somebody.
