I see CSR's stuff get flagged all the time, and it's always for *really* stupid fucking reasons. It's tinfoil, I know, but I'd almost be willing to say there's someone who just doesn't like his work and flags it for any half-assed excuse they can come up with.

It's because they massively blow the lower half of their proportions out of any semblance of sanity (balloon tits somewhat optional) as part of their style. There's certainly more than one who object to it and not all of us bother flagging them.

The ratio of approved/deleted for Robutts kinda speaks for it self. If there is a serial flagger (not really that tinfoil IMO) he is using the flagging system correctly.

Since no one can support what the flagger is claiming about this image, I'm going ahead to file an appeal.

Well, according to that banner, 4 moderators thought it was "poor quality", and frankly, just one thigh is about three times the thickness of the waist, which is just absurd anatomy.

Also, there isn't just one person flagging robutt's work. I'm guessing there's at least 4 or 5, and several of them are probably also approvers, at that, as opposed to only a couple that seem to defend them. The art is really terrible, and more people think that they definitely shouldn't be approved to the point of being willing to go out of their way to flag some of these than think that it should.

OOZ662 already explained why the artist's work has such a tough time going through the approval queue. I am not questioning what happened with the process nor am I seeking clarification about that, as I understand the issues that people have with Robutt's art.

What I -am- asking about is whether or not the flag is accurate in claiming that the thigh is attached to the torso, or rather, 'growing' out of it.

The reason why I am adamant about getting a direct answer is that I see many flags of this nature that make observations that do not reconcile with what I can actually see. Regardless of the image getting appealed or deleted, I would like to facilitate my own learning and improving my ability to judge posts. Therefore I put forth a question that basically amounts to: "I don't see what the flag is talking about, does anyone else see it?"

So far, the impression I am getting is that it's completely okay to make bewildering, off-the-mark flags, especially if the artwork in question gets deleted in the end.
