Oh that's just cool, I've always liked 1700s-1800s military forces; and with Touhou characters that just makes this even better. I hope to see more as I am now imagining Napoleonic Wars-era Lunar Defence Force, and it's awesome.

Sadly the last upload onto their Pixiv was almost a year ago, unless I'm reading something wrong, so more Austro-Hungarian Touhou goodness from this particular artist is unlikely to be forthcoming.

Interesting. I grew up with Napoleonic Wars enthusiasm; and since the love of the French uniforms etc. is kinda diminished by the dreary self-obsession of the dictator, I pretty well think the Austrian forces were the steady constant and most under-rated of the peoples. Thing was, they kept getting knocked down, but always came back.

Looks like that uniform comes from The Great Northern War era to me.
