I changed it from “killed” to “knocked out” (also using the official English phrase) because they’re playing squads and opponents only go down while some of their squad is still alive. This also fits better with the “fainted” in the Japanese version.

Oh, playing in squads is different than solo? I don't play PUBG, just saw gameplay video I saw for references.

When playing solo, you immediately die when you are killed. When playing squads, you get downed instead. In that state, you can crawl around slowly and wait for your squad-mates to revive you while your time is ticking away. If your whole squad is downed, everyone dies because there’s nobody left to revive anyone. You can still be shot and killed while downed.

I haven’t played the game either but watched too many Let’s Plays… If you’re watching PUPG videos for reference, make sure to watch squad plays.

Ok thanks for the info. Didn't even know that being in a squads was possible in fact, I just saw too many solo video so I thought it was only about that.
