That's kind of my problem with the character as well. Not to say that girls can't be strong and muscular, but it's possible to be strong and muscular and confident in yourself while still retaining feminine features. Looking like a girl doesn't dissuade you from being one tough cookie. In fact it only enhances it. Being strong yet cute is a good feature to have.
Nothing wrong with a mountain having some gentle slopes if you catch my drift.
