    This is strange! The breech looks like a left-handed version and there is a caplock?! A "love child" of the Springfield and a muzzle loading musket?

    Could it be, that this picture was mirrored? If she fires THAT caplock from her right shoulder, she'll get some nasty burns in her face.

    Still the lock is on the wrong side and there is a lever for a breech-loading mechanism. Springfield M1861 X M1903 hybrid???

    Reminds me of film-props, where modern guns are fitted with the trimmings of muzzle-loaders to fit the period.
