I like how in the game there are the random node news feeds that gives clues as to the surrounding world to the game. Human settlement relocation, "violent environmentalists" (us) "donate" resources to the war effort, T-dolls being fed expired rations from G&K surplus, improper usage of "retired" T-dolls, dinergates being taken in a pets, etc. A lot of stuff happening beyond the main campaign story.

Then you have cafe stories (both skins and MOD), occasionally show us more of the T-dolls' side of story. The Halloween 2018 is particularly interesting.
