I once forgot the same bill on my trouser pocket and had it washed, thrice, it was washed enough to start fading.
Maybe the bills from Brazilian Real are of a lesser quality, but that shocked me.

This and the rubber paychecks (because they bounce) never get old.

both yes and no its infact the acids that actually clean the coin so any tough grime or dirt wont work (tabasco does contain some lactic acid IIRC from the fermentation process)
