I don't think it fits. This was posted to Twitter on 1 December and the only comments are about how cute it is. Nothing to warrant the current events pool.
Maybe the pool was added because the latin american voice of Neeko recently passed away, not noticing the fanart was from 1 of December? Either way it does not make much sense because the artist is japanese. It probably was a mistake.
I've removed this from the pool. Current Events' pool description states that context should be given when adding to the pool. And no context was given.
Within each post, a link and/or an explanation should be provided so that the context can be understood.
