Was that just a movie prop or do they really look like that?
To my knowledge they look like indiscriminate powder/gas. I'd imagine it looks a lot like ground up castor bean.
the movie also attached VX being more corrosive or caustic rather than a nerve agent (I'd imagine that having a seizure followed by paralysis then death isn't cinematic).

Realism is never that cool and impressive. Unless it it and then people shout that it is unrealistic.
