The screens look pretty good but how's the animation quality?

I don't see fake_screenshot or some tag like that, so I take it that this one is from a real anime? Is there really a touhou anime?

Well it is just a fanwork, basically an animated doujin. But the first one seems to follow the events of EoSD but expanding on it a whole lot since the game was a series of brief dialogues.

That was surprisingly well done. The faces looked a little mushy here and there, but the overall quality was good. The voice work was nicer than I expected.

tho' I read that they had professional Voice Actors. O.o'' seems a little like overkill for a fanime, but at least it turned out nice.

Indeed, quite a few professional voice actors worked on this project.
