    A little unsuccessful with that.
    1. You should learn how to use the translator's notes function in the translation notes (protip: ). Do that rather than putting in another note to explain things.
    2. Yes, "akeome" - short for "akemashite omedetou" - is more or less "Happy New Year". However, you forgot to translate the text on the next line.
    3. You, and apparently quite a few Danbooruites, have forgotten about the "akeome" tag.

    I have taken the liberty of correcting these things.
