It's been over four years and you've been more right than anyone could have guessed. It'd be one thing if Polaris was a one time case but ever since her potatos dying have gotten way too common. It doesn't happen all the time but it's often enough that if a event has a potato in it then people will just naturally assume they're gonna die by the end of it. Doesn't help that the amount of new playable ones compared to other races is a low as ever.
