i have been wondering, is it fair to call them triplets? I understand for tagging purposes, it fits but they are technically one entity across multiple bodies. Which I feel almost deserves its own tag.

Multiple persona? Clone?
The closest equivalent I can think of is Heca (when she's not depicted with three minds in three bodies that is) and she usually got the former. But Cerberus is similar enough that the latter would make more sense, technically. I think.
