The undead would not care because they are....well....undead.
But certainly eneny warriors might take fear, because gold-decorated armor signified a warrior of high standing. Though as the practice of ransoming was common in the Medieval Ages, it was probably NOT a good idea for a warrior to be too decorative with their armor, as it could invite low-ranking knights andlow-born common soldiers to always attack you in the hopes of gathering that rich ransom.
