It's either a really poorly drawn IMI Galil or (more probably) a poorly drawn Bulgarian AK variant.
The lack of a curve in the magazine does back up nothing about the use of the weapon, it just reflects the fact it's chambered in 5.45x39, not in 7.62x39.
The bipod is drawn just for shits and giggles, you can't actually expect the Japanese to know shit about firearms. I bet the artist just thought it looks tacticool or something. Actually, mounted like this, it would just reduce the accuracy by affecting the harmonics of the barrel.

You've got a point, it looks similar. Though the 2000 project was dropped as well as the LADA.
(I should know, I'm in the Czech military. We could have the SCARS now, but the Zbrojovka said LOL NO, bribed the commission and forced the untested CZ 805 in prototype stage on us. We were all like FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU...)
Not really, this one lacks the counterpiston (on AEK-971 it reaches all the way to the front sight) and generally looks different (less bulky frame, more similar to the traditional AK design than the AEK, etc.)
Don't know much about guns, but is it possible that it's a customized/modified AK? You see, in the "Army of Two" games, you can modify any gun into something different with any weapon parts possible, even the parts from other guns. Dunno if that kinda thing even possible though.
It really looked like AK body with the grip, barrel and stock parts taken from CZ-2000.
