It's a direct quote from Howard Phillip Lovecraft himself; one of his most famous. A simple copy-paste to google would confirm that. Considering many, including Stephen King himself believe Lovecraft to be the greatest horror author, it would not be that unusual to say it is indeed in proper, although archaic, english.
Has anyone considered the similarity between ZUN and HPL, in that both of them ended up creating an open-source "mythos" that other people developed and fleshed out into something huge and full of contradictions that people devote themselves to?
I swear, in 100 years, there will be an handful of "ZUN Scholars" along the lines of Joshi and Hollenbecq.
Awakening "Froggy Won't Lose to the Ship Alert"
The ship Alert is a reference to the Cthulhu mythos. Kero is the sound of ribbiting.
The whole line is a reference to Suwako's spellcard in Mountain of Faith, #107 "Native God: 'Froggy Braves the Elements'"In her house in R'lyeh, dead SUWAKO waits dreaming.
