Warugaki always seems to have such a rough time with translations. Is he just too verbose?

It's more that the fast-translated works are regularly posted, while there are still some works from Warugaki on his pixiv account that weren't added here - so even if there are better translators who like to give it a try, they may not notice something new appeared after a long break. Though he does use more elaborate expressions, so for someone with not much knowledge of the language like me it can be a hassle at times.

Applied a small correction, because what she did in panel 5 is crush pan-fried rice pan included in the shape of an onigiri.

Thank you. Like I said, my knowledge can be quite limited as I pretty much learn as I go along. Hopefully half a year from now I'll be more bearable.

    Hiriji's 3-second cooking technique
Put required amount of rice in your palm.
Apply as much force as a pressure cooker and voilà!
Then how about a simple onigiri?

    Please, dig in!
What the?! Is that some magic trick?!
I'm sorry to burst your bubble there, sir...
    STEAMY
If too much force is applied, carbon will turn into diamonds. Pay attention to how much force you apply!
Who the hell needs such a warning?!
Aaah, so that's why it feels so gritty in my mouth.
    CRUNCH CRACK SCREE
    Don't you get it?! It's a failure!!
    Small Memo
    Er... milled rice?
I recommend practicing with a frying pan first until you familiarize yourself with the recipe.
    Pan-fried onigiri?!
