a new form of comedy? i admit the fat women in japan really stick out. there are a lot more of them now with all of the fast food places that have sprung up in the last ten years.

Then again, Japan has the idea that someone's fat if their weight goes up at all, even 1kg, whether it's due to overeating or something like the natural growth process (e.g. bones and muscles). So that opinion's a bit suspect.

So far, I've seen her drawn by what I suspect are four different artists, none of which were actually listed where I found them.
