While I love Okuu as the birdbrain we'll always know and love, I still like these comics. They give her the "Smarter than the average bear" kind of feel. <33

Well, crows actually are pretty intelligent in real life. They do such things as drop nuts at a busy intersection and wait for a car to crack them by running over them. It's a shame that the only two crow characters are portrayed as idiots.
