Even when you spend your time thinking "Man, nothing changes", there are in fact all kinds of changes taking place, and when you something suddenly makes you notice them, it completely changes your view on the world. That's the idea. When working remotely means you basically spend your life at home, I get the feeling it may or may not make noticing changes in the outside world more difficult.
I made progress on the still image, anxious about if it would get the idea across, but when it finally came time to add the little spinner, I decided this would be better if it was animated so I dragged out the video editing software for the first time in a long while and inched away way at it. When I exported it as a GIF animation it came out a little jaggedy, but I guess that can add flavour in a way too. I'm sorry, I'll study more.
At first I came up with a picture in my head of a crowd of people all with spinners for faces and wondered how that would come across, but it was a little too horrorish and seemed like it wouldn't get the point across as well so I gave up. I'll draw it separately if another opportuntiy comes up.
