Something tells me that by bringing up Haruhi with its exemplary and clever writing and dialogue while being a Naruto fan, it shows that bigb has more of a problem with mary sues, even when they're obvious parodies and deconstructions. This notwithstanding the fact that Naruto has a few sues of its own.
