Killing Reimu (without her getting a replacement first) means the end of Gensokyo, which is part of why everyone adheres to the Spellcard rules. If anything Spellcard rules favor the bad guys as now Reimu can't just hax them to death (or as close to death as they can get) with impunity as they hold back for fear of destroying the Great Hakurei Barrier.

the only reason i stoped reading this pool is that i can't see through my tears
