Karaagetarou is an amazing writer. Amazing humor, incredible cuteness, and then suddenly he throws a curveball and stuff gets serious, and yet it doesn't seem unnatural at all and retains its colorful atmosphere. Wow.

You know, logically, there are a whole *lot* of effectively immortal people in Gensoukyo. Most youkai don't get any older, if Tewi is any indication...the fairies are eternal, the vampires, the gods, the ghosts and half-ghosts.. About the only ones who aren't are Sakuya, Marisa, Reimu, and Sanae, being totally (Or almost entirely, in Sanae's case) human.

They're 'Immortal, barring accidents', in the words of The Doctor. They may not have infinite lives cheats like Kaguya and Mokou, but there's nothing that says they can't live forever if they keep themselves healthy.

But they'll still die, eventually. And there's absolutely no reason to think that youkai don't die from old age. Yes, they have much longer lifespans than humans, and the form of their death may vary from the biological failure of a human's, but they could still suffer an inevitable death.

But that's still a *minimum* of *thousands of years* of friendship. Yukari and Tewi are both over 1300 years old, and they're going strong.

Mokou should be focusing on the *millenia* she'll have of their friendship instead of 'Oh boo hoo, everybody dies, woe is me, wah wah wah' angst-o-ramas. She's too awesome to be a whiny hobo.

"The seeds still remain." Keine is planning of having kids then?
