You know, Meliadoul, you're awesome but it's a shame you suck at the same time.

I dunno. She's always been awesome in my game.

She just joins you too late in the game. Getting her after you get Orlandu was messed up. On the plus side, she could equip Chantage, so she (along with every other female) was virtually unkillable.

The main problem with her is that she's strongest against one very strong human enemy, due to her ability to break all of their equipment. In comparison, all of Agrias's Holy Sword techniques deal high damage to a decently sized area, making her much more efficient, even though the former could render the latter useless with a single Hellcry Punch.

Meliadoul is pretty useful for the various side quests in Chapter 4, since you encounter a lot of human enemies in those.
