"Super popular", you say... this is only the 2nd episode, you know.
Anyway, for the 2nd episode of this super popular corner, today we'll be explaining some of the terminology used when referring to the players.
Mahjong begins with the player called the oya, while the other 3 are called ko. The oya is the East player, or the toncha, while the 3 ko players are the nancha, shaacha, and the peicha for the South, West, and North, respectively. Literally, "oya" = "parent" and "ko" = "child"
Isn't it relatively meaningless either way?
Why are you putting on glasses?
What do spicy tacos have to do with being a Yamato Nadeshiko?
As a bonus, I have as my assistant the loyal dog of the of the Mahjong Club: Kyoutarou!
    Who the hell's a dog!
DUN DUN DA DUUNNNN! Taco Yuuki's Mahjong Class!
This instructional corner is more or less for the people who are watching the "Saki" anime but don't know anything about mahjong at all!
You're going to ignore me again?
Super-spicy tacos are pretty good too! I'm the "Yamato Nadeshiko" mahjong player, Taco Yuuki! Click here to find out what "Yamato Nadeshiko" means.

Since when was that camera there?
Actually, didn't we use this panel before
The club president told me that saying it like this is a lot better for ratings.
The seating arrangements are pretty much like this.
If you want to know why the directions are placed differently from their usual orientation, go look it up yourself.
You're cutting short the explanations again?
