I don't remember clearly but there's a part in the story mode wherein Rachel was positively commenting about Jin (besides the usual teasing on him being "Eiyuu" / Hero)
She doesn't fight Jin in Story Mode. Jin is her 2nd subboss in Arcade Mode, and in very few words, she compared him to a "well trained dog" (or something like that).
More than respect, she seemed to see Jin more like a diversion.
They have a few things in common though; making Ragna's life a living hell...But where's Noel? Then it'd be a messed up family picture...Nu'd have to be someplace too I guess?
Their looking away from each other looks more like they have similar trains of thought like:
Jin/Rachel unknowingly thinking at the same time: I...it's not like I'm hugging her/him or anything. I'm just trying to grab Ragna's attention, that's all. Really!
