They're all from the same source (the so-called "Twitter log").
Unless they're explicitly connected, they shouldn't be parented just because they were in a Twitter log. If the individual Twitter art had been uploaded, they wouldn't have been parented together in such a fashion.
While the images might have appeared separately on the artist's twitter, the artist grouped them into a log on pixiv. As I'm sure you have discovered for yourself already in the course of uploading art from that site, you only ever see the first image in a log as a thumbnail. The remaining images do not have separate preview thumbnails. I realize they are unrelated in the sense that they don't display sequential scenes, however, I'm new to contributing so I searched for an answer and the danbooru wiki for pixiv says nothing about how logs should be uploaded nor could I find anything in the forums. The upload page indicated they were related, so I just made the subsequent images in the log children of the image displayed in the thumbnail of the log on pixiv. I'll check with a friend who has more experience with Danbooru as to how pixiv logs should be handled. In the meantime, if you know of a forum post in which this is discussed, please let me know.

This is a common thing for artists to do. But Damian is correct, you do not parent things just because they were posted together. Parenting is for things in a sequence or otherwise directly related. help:post_relationships
