The Travelers are implied to be VERY long-lived, if not biologically immortal (can't die from old age but may die from illness and/or injuries), and the bit about Lisa being cursed by a magic book wasn't directly stated by the official lore. Lisa didn't went back to Mondstadt after graduating from Sumeru to live the reminder of her life, but based on a NPC you can find in the Akademiya she didn't take well with the Sages' leadership and how researchers won't get funding if their topic wasn't of the interest of the Sages.
