Yes, there is. One is much more polite. Personally, I'd like it if this strip was translated...what in Gensokyo would make Keine bow to KAGUYA!?!

Pretty close...basically, the way I understand it, scraping your head against the ground is the most humiliating and deferential position in Japan, hence people's unwillingness to do it, and Kaguya's shock at seeing it done.
