I think Yuuka wants Sanae to win because otherwise it would make her look bad if the team that beat her lost to a "weak" youkai such as Meiling.

What bothers me the most is that I have a gut feeling that Sanae's going to win.

From the partial translation, it looks like Yuuka's trying to incite Sanae into playing dirty...which is probably the best chance her and Suwako will have against Meiling and Flandre. If Sanae ends up in the ring with Meiling, she's gonna get pasted, and Flandre's one gigantic walking wildcard.

I think the only thing that saved Sanae the first time was Flandre was too confused to get upset. Once she's had time to process what Sanae did, I think Flandre's gonna be a little bit miffed.

At the same time, I also think Flandre's so interested in playing with everyone that she won't go straight for anything too dangerous, which'll save...everyone involved, really, from anything *too* extreme from her.

I'm not entirely sure what Colonel Aki's take on Flandre is, but many of the interpretations of her I've seen so far have her as simply not knowing her own strength and/or not understanding what happens when people 'break'. I'm hoping she's careful in Tag Dream.

well, in the training part, Meiling was teaching Flan how to "fall" so she wouldn't hurt, and Flandre looked like she was having fun.

Since she trained for so long with Meiling, you can count on her knowing how to pull punches... or at least for people with the same resilience as Meiling... which means they are all fucked

Ah, I was wondering why Sanae was able to withstand such abuse from Yuuka and then go down to one blow from Meiling. Technique, rather than strength. I wonder why Meiling isn't trying it more? It seems like an easy win.
