A nice princess_carry picture, but unfortunately this pose only works in an environment that isn't Zero G, since it relies on the weight of the person being carried to keep them in the arms of the carrier. And this is from a show that I remember mostly respected the Zero G, frictionless environment of outer space.

For it to work Mikhail would have to use his VF to wrap its arms around her instead of simply supporting her weight (which is nonexistent here). Of course, that still leaves the question of how she can fit that much hair into such a relatively small helmet . . .

That would work only if he was still accelerating in the direction of his head. The moment he stops applying thrust, Klan keeps on going in that direction with the hold he's applying. That's why it would only work if actually held on to her tightly rather than simply supporting her in this pose.

Err no, that's not how it works at all. "An object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted on by an outside force" If he stopped accelerating they'd still be moving at exactly the same speed and would continue on in the same relative positions and at the same speed unless something else acted on them. The only reason something would drift away from you in space if you let go of it is if you or it had further force applied to it.

If you had a wrench in your hand and simply let go gently it would simply float along with you. Unless of course you say threw it or changed your own velocity after letting go. This pose is perfectly doable by simply grabbing her and then drifting without applying any further force. Never mind that it's entirely possible to apply a light grip with the fingers in this position which would easily hold against any minuscule differences in velocity.

I just have one question... how does she get all that hair into such a small helmet...... or for that matter, how does any female pilot with waist-length hair?
